 A. There are 3 document types: Masters, Transactions & Reports

2. eTransaction - Work is worship. Run your companies day to day  transaction with Transaction processing Tool.
3. eReports - Business needs Information at finger  tips. Generate Reports with this Report generation Tool. There are various types of document reporting services. Some of them are XML based web services, emails, printing, file saving on disk, fax etc.


B. eAPI XML based Web services - Business needs their systems to talk to others systems without human intervention. API is published to enable this.

ERPWEB follows Rosettanet - XML based Document Standards for B2B Exchange.

Developed by means of an industry-wide partnership, RosettaNet standards address the Information Technology (IT), Electronic Components (EC) and Semiconductor Manufacturing (SM) supply chain, including manufacturers, distributors, resellers, shippers and end users. 


C. eSignatures - Business needs signatures as security device to certify & approve documents & decisions.....

ERPWEB uses eSignature Authenticode technology to verify the identity of the user who is adding or updating business documents. Authenticode technology verifies that the document has a valid signature: that the identity of the document owner matches the signature, and that the signature is still valid. Note that eSignature reduces the chance of someone not authorized of entering data in a program that is intended to be malicious or intentionally harmful to your business. Thus it protects your business.

ERPWEB eSignature works as follows:

  1. Register Signature Process: First you have to create your Signature code & Signature image in ERPWEB System.
  2. Signing Signature Process: Every document will ask you to enter your signature code before doing any transaction.
  3. Verifying Signature Process: Signature you entered will be verified with your registered signature & data is accepted.

In ERPWEB at bottom of every document before you do actions like Add, Edit, Delete, Approve, Onhold, OffHold you will find a signature box. The signature and password is same in ERPWEB Version 2. You need to provide your login passowrd as signature. In ERPWEB Version 3 a more specific sophisticated signature will be used along with industry standard technology. The details will be available in 4 months of time.
