A report is an effective way to present your data in a printed format. Because you have control over the size and appearance of everything on a report, you can display the information the way you want to see it.
Most of the information in a report comes from an underlying table, query, or SQL statement, which is the source of the report's data. Other information in the report is stored in the report's design.
Creating New Reports in ERPWEB:
- ERPWEB has flexible report development tools
named as Reports Manager in eITM - Infotech Management
section.
- You can also use many 3rd party report
development tools like Seagate Crystal Reports, Excel, Word, Access, SQL Server etc. to generate
customized reports.
Following methods can be used to work
with reports:
- Print the Report: Menu Path: File
--> Print Menu or Ctrl+P shortcut keys --> Print Dialog Box Select
Printer/Page etc.
- Fax the Report: Menu Path: File -->
Print Menu or Ctrl+P shortcut keys --> Print Dialog Box Select Fax/Page
etc.
- Email the Report: Menu Path: File
--> Send Menu --> Page by E-mail --> Enter email address &
subject.
- Save the Report: Menu Path: File -->
Save As Menu --> Select Network location & filename. (This file can
be open for editing using MS Word or Excel. Data contained in this file can
also be directly imported into databases)
- Edit the Report: Menu Path: File -->
Edit with Microsoft Frontpage (If frontpage is installed) or View -->
