Part 1: Installing Network Server for ERPWEB

1. If Windows 2000 Server Operating System is installed in your Server PC start it.
2. OR
3. If Windows 2000 Server is not installed install it from Windows 2000 CD-ROM & Start it.

Part 2: Installing ERPWEB Application & Business Server Files

1. Place your ERPWEB CD-ROM into your CD-ROM Drive or your network CD-ROM.
2. Goto CDROM Drive and Double Click on Setup.exe file from ERPWEB CD-ROM.
3. OR
4. If you have downloaded ERPWEB from Internet Double Click on Setup.exe file.
5. Provide specific path to copy all files in your Windows 2000 NTFS Hard Disk.

Part 3: Configuring Web Server for ERPWEB

1. If IIS5 is installed in your Windows 2000 Server, start IIS5 Web Server.
2. Open Microsoft Management Console and in that Open IIS5 Web Server Administrator.
3. Share your erpweb folder as web alias with same name as erpweb in IIS5 Server.
4. Now you will have web address as http://localhost/erpweb, just type in browser to confirm.
5. If you see ERPWEB homepage then you have successfully configured ERPWEB.
6. OR
7. If IIS5 Web server is not insatalled in your Windows 2000. Install it and perform above tasks.

Part 3: Configuring Database Server for ERPWEB

1. If SQL Server 2000 is installed in your Windows Server start Enterprise Manager.
2. Create New Database with name erun. This database will store your entire data.
3. Restore erun backup from database folder and overwrite erun database in SQL Server 2000.
4. OR
5. If SQL Server 2000 is not installed goto folder SQLMSDE folder and click on setup.exe.
6. This will install SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine onto your hard disk. Start SQL SERVER.

Part 4: Configuring File & Folder Server for ERPWEB

1. Goto Control Panel & Network Settings and set your Network computername as ERPWEB1
2. Goto ERPWEB Folder and share folder with full rights in name of SHARED.
3. This will setup your Sharable File Server which is also called Workrooms for users.
